The Cabinet of Ministers approved a proposal to: 

  • Purchase 10 million doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine from the Serum Institute in India at a cost of USD 52.5 million; and
  • Enter into an agreement with AstraZeneca in the United Kingdom to purchase 3.5 million doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.
