338,000 vaccinated; 10 million doses expected!

338,769 people have been vaccinated as of 21st February 2021. A further 10 million doses are to be procured from the Serum Institute in India.

A cabinet paper is to be presented today in order to allocate USD 52.5 million in order to fund the procurement of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccines.

The Serum institute had urged foreign governments to be patient as their priority was to produce vaccines to fulfil domestic demand.
